Could you spare 2 hours or more per month to help us at our Sling Library meets?

We need volunteers to help set up, break down and administrate our weekly meets.

You will be greeting people on arrival, signing them in, checking the carriers/slings in and out for hire using our online hiring system and helping with hot drinks and snacks.

Our meets run in both Salisbury city centre – Tuesdays and Fordingbridge – Thursday/Saturdays

We welcome you to bring your children along with you, so there is no need to arrange childcare.

and the potential of studying for a Peer Supporter qualification in babywearing.

What other benefits?

Each of our volunteers can decide to undertake their baby wearing peer supporter and later consultant training.

would you like to expand your knowledge?

All our volunteer Peer Supporters help fund their own training, so that they can give qualified help and guidance at meets. The Library offers some financial support to cover these costs but we ask for your time commitment in return.
